Chat with strangers in your country

How the country filter works

Open chitmet.gg, tap Start Text Chat or Start a voice call, then More filters. Country and Language sit in the same panel. Chitmet first looks for someone who matches both; if nobody is waiting it widens the search so you are never stuck on a loading screen. The person you meet sees your country name only if you chose to show it.

Country pages exist because people search differently in different places — “chat to strangers” in the US and the Philippines, “talk to strangers” in the UK, “baat karne wala app” in India — and because what people worry about differs too: data costs, late-night hours, which languages to pick. Looking for a language rather than a country? See chat in your language.
