How stranger chat works on Chitmet
Open chitmet.gg, choose a show name, confirm you are 18+ and press Start. Chitmet finds someone else who is waiting and opens a private one-on-one chat between you. Nobody else can read it, and there are no public rooms.
Add a few interests first and Chitmet tries to match you with someone who shares them. A Vibe Match score shows what you have in common, so the first message is easier than a plain “hi”.
Random stranger chat without the camera
Many stranger chat apps push you onto video. Chitmet does the opposite: it is text chat and audio-only voice calls only, and it never asks for camera access. That makes it calmer, more private and much lighter on mobile data.
If a text chat is going well, either of you can invite the other to a voice call. The call starts only when both people accept, and calls are never recorded.
Indian stranger chat, in your language
Want to chat with strangers from India, or in Hindi, Punjabi or English? Use the country and language filters on the hub. Set the country to Strict to only meet people in India, or Preferred to meet others when nobody nearby is free.
Stranger chat that stays safe
Chitmet is 18+ only. Every chat has Skip, Report and Block, automatic checks flag spam, scam links and phone-number fishing, and human moderators review reports. Photos only come through after you allow media. Never share your real name, number, address or money details with someone you have just met.
