Real conversations earn XP. Not messages — conversations. The level next to your name tells the people you meet that you show up, listen and talk. Guests earn it too; it moves to your account when you claim your name.
How you earn XP
Real conversation+20
A chat where you both sent at least 3 messages and that lasted a minute or more.
Up to 15 times a day.
Voice call+30
A voice call that stayed connected for at least a minute.
Up to 10 times a day.
Keep in Touch match+50
You and your match both chose to keep in touch.
Up to 5 times a day.
Daily check-in+10
Your first real conversation or call of the day.
Up to 1 time a day.
Streak bonus+20 / +100
Day 3: +20 · day 7 and every 7th day after: +100.
Sending lots of messages earns nothing on its own, and neither does skipping fast — the caps and the “both sides talked” rule keep levels honest.
Premium: 2× XP and a gold badge
Premium members earn double XP on everything and their level badge turns gold, so people see it before they even say hi. Every level is still reachable for free — Premium just gets you there twice as fast. See Premium.
