Do I need an account? No. Guests can chat and call. An account lets you keep friends, recent matches and settings.

Does Chitmet use my camera? Never. Voice calls ask for your microphone only. There is no video calling.

Someone sent me something I didn’t want. Tap Block, then Report with the category “Unwanted Media” or “Sexual Content”. You can also revoke their media permission.

I pressed Next by accident. You have a few seconds to tap Undo Skip — unless the other person blocked, reported or ended the chat, or turned reconnecting off.

Can I change my nickname? Yes, anytime — from the Start screen as a guest, or in Edit Profile with an account.

How do I delete my account or export my data? Email us from the address on your account (see below) and we’ll process it within 30 days.
